BACKGROUND
Sailing is not easy, but far from impossible. The feeling of slowly learning and of eventually finding out that “I can do it” was what we and Svenska Seglarförbundet (Swedish Sailing Federation) wanted to show.
CREATIVE SOLUTION
We designed and named a collection of sailing pins for the younger (or older) sailors to collect. The badges are available in yellow, green and blue difficulty levels.
The speed comes from the wind caught in the sail. In the sailing pin SEGLET, you learn about technique and trim. The waves give you as a sailor more challenge and sense of speed. In the sailing pin VÅGEN, you learn about strategy and tactics. Who can sail without wind? In the sailing pin VINDEN you learn about weather, rules and physiology. Sailing consists of a lot of fun moments, and in our star pins, you get to learn one part at a time.
To launch the pins we created a campaign for social media inspired by gaming.
